REASON TO THINK WELCOMES YOU !!!!!

Hi Thinkers,

I am Krupa, a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who loves to teach tiny tots! I have been an educator for 16 years now. Along with ‘teaching’ writing has always been like a vent for my thoughts.

I have started this blog called ‘Reasons to Think’ to pour my thoughts that have been confined in the four walls of my mind. On this blog, I write about general topics that you must have seen written by other writers or heard from some good speakers, but here I present to you my perspective. To be frank, I am not a professional writer but a person who loves to write.

I don’t ask everyone to agree with my views but I would like to make a request to everyone to not jump to conclusions but to first ponder upon the thought and the writing. Just as the name of my blog suggests – Reason to Think, my perspective would triggers you to think. I personally believe that thinking minds can always get rid of problems in life.

Apart from writings I have also focused on creating worksheets and activities for the kids as young as 2+ years, to enhance their cognitive, visual intelligence,, correlation and also to improve child’s concentration. I have also created some “picture interpretation” sheets keeping in mind to develop bonding with teacher or parents and also to escalate kids communication, imagination and creative skills.

THIS SITE IS GETTING RESTRUCTURED TO GIVE EASY ACCESS TO THE VIEWERS , SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE

  • “Small and Big” Visual discrimination activity for kids

  • Alphabet Hunt picture activity

  • Picture Interpretation Activity-2 for kids of 2.6 to 6 years old

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, HOPE YOU FIND THIS SITE USEFUL, KINDLY GIVE ME YOUR VALUABLE FEEDBACK

ANGER

Most of us know the meaning of the word ‘anger’ but don’t know how to control it. In some cases we become a victim of Anger.

Most of the talented person would be struggling to come up in life because of Anger. Not just for talented people, even kind hearted and good people, are struggling in their life because of anger.

I personally feel that if we understood the causes, handling techniques and how to get rid of anger, then our life will be filled with happiness.

Anger is a kind of emotion which has the capacity to destroy a person. Even though we know the hazards of Anger, we fail to control it at many places. At times we fall as a prey for Anger.

As it is important to control Anger, for which we need to understand the causes of Anger.
We will first see what causes Anger in good person:

  1. When you are treated badly. Example: A labourer will get angry, when his master exhibit supremacy by making him to do more work, even without food and water.
  2. When you are harassed verbally. Example: If you are an soft spoken or kind hearted person, then someone in your life will keep hurting you with harsh words out of jealousy, then you will get anger.
  3. If someone suppresses your talents. Example: It’s your supervisor’s inability makes him/ her to keep on exaggerating your small faults, even when you do more perfect work than him/ her, you will get anger.
  4. When someone cheated or fooled you. Example: If you go to a vender to buy a basket . if he first tells you that each basket cost 10rs. After you picked the basket , he changes his stand by saying each cost 20rs. When you come across these kind of unworthy people, you get anger.
  5. When someone breaks your trust. Example: if your brother/ sister tore an offer letter of your dream job and which could have changed your life. And you came to know about it after a couple of years. You will get anger because of their untrustworthy behaviour.
  6. When you are forced to act against your will. If you are an kind hearted and a person who does only good, you will get anger, when someone forces you to do atrocious things to a good person.

Now you will have a better picture about things which causes anger.

Does anger comes only for good people ? Even bad people gets anger. We will see now:

  1. The master will get angry when the labourer demands for his rights.
  2. If the kind-hearted person stops listening to the hurting words and overcomes her/his problems. Certainly the jealous person will get angry.
  3. Your supervisor will surely get anger when you prove to your boss that you are more good then her.
  4. If you stop buying things from that vendor surely he will get angry. Because he can’t earn easy money.
  5. That family member who tore your offer letter, will get a big blow when you grow multifold times better without getting your dream job.
  6. A day will come when that good person outshines demon.

Never worry about the bad people anger because God will always be with good people and never let them down.

Now we will see how to overcome / control anger:

  1. Take a deep breath when you are in great anger. This will dilute your anger.
  2. Do meditation when ever you get anger. This will helps you to calm your mind.
  3. Divert your mind away from the thing which cause anger. Try to focus on things which makes you happy when you are in great anger.
  4. Move away from the place and people who creates anger.
  5. Listen to some good music which soothes you.
  6. Read a good book, or some motivational quotes which can calm you.
  7. If you are a dancer/ singer/artist / any other arts you know, use your skills to calm your self. Example : if you are an artist take your paint brush and start moving your brush, in the way your mind dictates. This will makes you to get relief from anger.

I hope some of this technique would be helpful in controlling your anger. So let’s have a quick look at….
Do’s and don’ts when you are in Anger:
• NEVER TAKE ANY DECISION WHEN YOU ARE IN ANGER. All foolish decisions are taken in Anger.
• Never show anger in your face this will demotivate the people who causes anger.
• Be patient but never tolerate.

Let’s move on to why its important to get rid of anger. The below wordings will explain it:

“Holding on to ANGER is like you drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.”
—– Buddha
“Anger is a punishment we give to ourself, for somebody else’s mistake. “
— Swami Vivekananda

Now we will see how to get rid of the destructive Anger.:
THE KEY TO GET RID OF ANGER IS TO FORGIVE. If we forgive others mistakes that doesn’t mean that we are accepting their mistakes. But to protect our self from the destruction caused by the anger. Never forget the fact that the person who cause anger to you, will surely get it back because of your forgiveness.

Now we will see what benefits we get, when we get rid of anger by forgiveness.

  1. Protects us from getting heart diseases.
  2. Blood pressure will not shoot up.
  3. Risk of getting diabetes will be averted.
  4. Cholesterol problems won’t arise.
  5. Will get good sleep.
  6. Will get PEACE OF MIND.

These are not just benefits but a boon for healthy living. I know all of us will be longing for Peace of Mind, which is attainable only when we get rid of Anger. So let’s Forgive others mistakes for our wellbeing.

I have shared some forgiveness quotes, which reinforces forgiveness thoughts:

“ Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.”
—- e- Buddhism

“Everything is ended if you forgive and forget”
—- Swami Vivekananda

“Forgiveness is a virtue of the brave.”
— Indira Gandhi

“The weak can never forgive.
Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong”
—- Mahatma Gandhi

    • Yes supu thank you for your valuable time and valuable feedback. In most cases when we forgive we tend to forget. I totally agree with you to forget I have also mentioned about forget in quotes . But remember the lesson which the problem teaches you. I will explain this in detail in near future.
