Picture interpretation is just an old methodology of teaching. The below was drawn by me for making the child to think, talk and to know how the child interprets it. What looks to you as an ordinary picture, for your child it could be a beautiful one. I know most of the kids spend lots of time in watching animated pictures. But just take a break from those stuffs and try something like this, which enhance their creativity. What you need to do is just show this pictures and ask your kid “ what can you see in this picture “ then wait for them to identify, interprets and talks . This is one way of spending time productively with your child. As this activity will also enhance your child’s cognitive, correlation, imagination and communication skills

Please note each child has their own way of interpreting, please appreciate your child for their interpretations. For example when I showed this picture to 2 kids of 4+ years old, one child said a boy rowing the oar and another child said a fisherman catching fish. Both are really an awesome interpretations.
