REASON TO THINK WELCOMES YOU !!!!!

Hi Thinkers,

I am Krupa, a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who loves to teach tiny tots! I have been an educator for 16 years now. Along with ‘teaching’ writing has always been like a vent for my thoughts.

I have started this blog called ‘Reasons to Think’ to pour my thoughts that have been confined in the four walls of my mind. On this blog, I write about general topics that you must have seen written by other writers or heard from some good speakers, but here I present to you my perspective. To be frank, I am not a professional writer but a person who loves to write.

I don’t ask everyone to agree with my views but I would like to make a request to everyone to not jump to conclusions but to first ponder upon the thought and the writing. Just as the name of my blog suggests – Reason to Think, my perspective would triggers you to think. I personally believe that thinking minds can always get rid of problems in life.

Apart from writings I have also focused on creating worksheets and activities for the kids as young as 2+ years, to enhance their cognitive, visual intelligence,, correlation and also to improve child’s concentration. I have also created some “picture interpretation” sheets keeping in mind to develop bonding with teacher or parents and also to escalate kids communication, imagination and creative skills.

Picture Interpretation Activity-2 for kids of 2.6 to 6 years old

This is a kind of picture interpretation activity, where a child can correlate objects with shapes, identify the objects, they can also do counting of shapes and or objects. They can also try to form some simple sentences. I designed this activity for kids of 2.6 years to 6 years old. There is no right or wrong way to do this activity. This activity will enhance child’s correlation, analytical, cognitive, imagination, communication, recognition and so on…

Challenge level for this activity:
The below mentioned challenge level is not complusary for the age. This is just a rough picture for parents.
For 2.6 years : To recognize objects and shapes
For 3.6 years: They can do the above and also can do counting in any form i.e. like counting fishes or counting triangles or any other way a child thinks.
For 4.6 to 6 : they can do all the above mentioned and also form some simple sentences which will very depending upon the child’s age and maturity.

Dear parents/ teachers : please note that this activity is not meant to assess a child, this is only for the child to explore. It’s not necessary that child should recognize all objects or counting or to make simple sentences.
This activity is purely for the child to have good time with the parents or teachers. And for the child to have fun in learning.
Kindly share your feedback in the comments box or text me personally too. I am eager to know how this activity works and also to answer your query, if any. Please feel free to share your suggestions.
Please share me whether you and your child LIKE this activity or not and also share, cute conversation which you had with your child and don’t forget to point out the challenges they faced while doing this activity.

Picture interpretation activity -2

Note: for counting triangles or rectangles a child can count in any way for example: if a child count a fish tail as a separate triangle, their is nothing wrong it. This activity is to make the child interpret in their own way.

  1. Good one 🙂
This is an wonderful idea where kids will get to learn with open mind . This activity involves not only identifying but also interaction between the kid and the teacher 😊. This concept comes up every time with different themes so that kids get to learn new things within the concept .
