Dear parents/ teachers,

Don’t get upset if your child faces any learning difficulty. I would like to bring to your kind attention that learning difficulty is not a disease just a condition. Which can be overcome by other ways of learning.

 For example: if your child can’t able to identify a mild difference of sounds in a word/ sequence of the sounds in a word, which leads to spell errors then the teacher would compliant about it to you that he/she is week in language.

First don’t get panic or worried or yell at your child, and ask them to learn, learn and learn alone. This is a wrong move

Instead try to understand your child and their inner- cry, its not the fault of your child, so please figure out what is difficult for them and find a way to help them. It’s their difficulty to understand the mild difference in sound while writing and they won’t do it knowingly.  These children are known as neurodivergent (child), which means they think differently (layman’s term).

 When a child faces spelling errors, they require a different approach to understand the sounds of alphabets in a word. Some children will figure out on their own whereas some children need help from adults. Some children would take time to understand the differences.. so it’s necessary to give time for the child

Its important that teacher should use multiple intelligence technique and adapt multisensory teaching approach to their children.

Its very important for us to understand that in a basket full of tomatoes if you are asked to pick 2 identical tomatoes is it possible to do ? Certainly can’t.

Similarly fingers of our hand -all are not equal but to do a work effectively we need this inequality.

Similarly in a society we need people with different skillset, and different thinkers to make this society beautiful.

According to me each child is unique and possess some great strengths and some weakness.

It’s very important that each human should understand that weakness can be seen physically or mentally or both, but in society we need to adjust and accommodate with their weaknesses(disability) and we should not hurt or harm them, instead we should lend a helping hand towards them and importantly consider them as one among us. To gain this acceptance – will take time for adults, where us if we instill this at young age it makes a huge difference in a society.

I wish to end this post with a request to all teachers and parents that all things in this world are subjected to change so as the problems or difficulty or any lags So no child is superior or inferior to any one, so please don’t LABEL any child.

I believe that all problems comes with a solution and we need to change our approach to find solution. Do remember, there are N number of ways to solve a problem too.
