This is a small song for children to learn how seeds grow into a plant
Dear Teachers/ Parents / Thinkers,
“We are the little seeds” song is my creation, designed for young children to understand, what helps seeds grow into plants at an early age (4–5 years old). It also aids in enhancing their vocabulary, offers a calming tune to help them focus, understand emotions, and introduces the basic elements needed for seed germination.
This easy to sing song helps children to learn how seeds grow into a plant and then into a big plant. (Tune: marry had a little lamb/ a tune which you feel appropriate) It could also be used for role play with simple props.
“We are the little seeds, little seeds, little seeds, we are the little seeds who want to grow.
I am a farmer, farmer, farmer, I am a farmer who ploughs the field.
I am a farmer, farmer, farmer, I am a farmer who sow these seeds.
We are the rain clouds, rain clouds, rain clouds, we are the rain clouds who water the seeds.
We are the breeze, breeze, breeze, we are the breeze who helps the seeds to breath.
I am the sun, the sun, the sun, I am the sun who warmth the seeds.
We are now the happy seeds, happy seeds, happy seeds, we are the happy seeds who starts to grow.
We turned into little plants, little plants, little plants. We are now big plants with flowers and fruits.”
Please try it with your children and let me know the pros and corns and also suggestions for improvisations in the comments box.
